Approach to Lower Chaos--Memories from July 2008

The Park is buried under snow right now but some readers might enjoy a quick recap of the walk up to Lower Chaos. I'll replace the audio soon.

    As someone who doesn't get the opportunity to do that beautiful hike as often as he would like, I loved the video.

    Thanks for the vid Peter. Don't think I've seen the approach for the beauty that it is. I'm usually too busy answering tourons questions about the raft on my back.

    BTW, what do you use to strap your pads together?

    A single strap of 1" webbing with an overhand on a bight with two metal rings to cinch it down. It weighs two ounces and takes a minute to set up or undo.
